05 / BID & OPPORTUNITY MONITORING

Bid & opportunity monitoring

I monitor federal, state and Sangamon County procurement for mechanical and specialty trade contractors — every solicitation, amendment and addendum in your NAICS codes — and send you a daily brief with the deadline, the set-aside, and a plain answer on whether it's worth your time to bid.

Most of what you need to know gets published somewhere you're not looking. A solicitation posts on a Tuesday. An addendum changes the scope on Thursday. A grant window opens with a 21-day response period. By the time it reaches you through normal channels, the useful part of the window is gone.

I watch the sources that matter to your business — federal, state and county procurement boards, grant portals, licensing and regulatory notices — and send you a short daily brief of what actually changed and what it means for you.

The monitoring isn't the hard part. Anyone can set up alerts. The work is deciding what's worth your attention: filtering out the ninety percent that doesn't apply, flagging the deadline that's too close to be worth chasing, and telling you plainly which one to read first.

No dashboard to log into. No feed to check. One email, every morning, that you can read in two minutes.

What setup involves

Before anything runs, I define your sources and tune the filter to your codes, your geography, and the size of job you actually want. That tuning is the work. Get it wrong and you're back to ignoring another notification.

No pitch deck, no pressure. Tell me the task you're tired of doing, and I'll tell you whether it's worth automating.
